Ferry to Ons Island
At the scheduled time, we will depart by ferry from Baiona, navigating towards the National Park of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia.
Our journey will first take us through the Vigo estuary, where we will glide past San Martiño, Montefaro, and Monteagudo, which are the principal areas of the Cíes Islands. While this archipelago won't be part of our itinerary, you'll nonetheless catch a glimpse of the famous Rodas beach from aboard the ferry.
The crossing lasts approximately one hour and 15 minutes and continues into the Pontevedra estuary, home of Ons Island. Upon arrival, you can disembark and enjoy the day exploring its stunning natural environment.
During your free time, consider options such as having lunch, unwinding on serene beaches, or taking a stroll on one of the four available hiking trails. One of these trails leads to the remarkable Ons lighthouse, recognized as one of the largest lighthouses in Spain.
We will regroup at the dock on Ons Island at the designated time for our return trip to the port of Baiona.
