At the specified time, our team will greet you at your accommodation in either Baní or Santo Domingo to commence an engaging exploration of Baní’s key attractions.

Your journey begins as we venture to the outskirts, where you can experience sandboarding on the Baní dunes. This remarkable landscape, shaped by sediment from the Baní and Nizao rivers along with the Bahía stream, features dunes that soar up to 35 meters (115 feet) tall. As you glide down the dunes, take a moment to appreciate the diverse local vegetation, which includes red mangroves, olive trees, cambrón, and various cacti.

We will continue to the stunning Laguna del Salado Muerto and the historical salt mines, originally established by Nicolás de Ovando during the colonial period. Here, local communities sustainably harvest and sell this valuable mineral.

Our next stop is the heart of the city, where we'll visit the Cathedral of Our Lady of Regla. This colonial-era church boasts historical features dating back to the 18th century. Inside, you'll find the statue of the Virgin of Regla, crafted in 1889, an important cultural symbol.

After our exploration, we will return you to your original location, completing the tour approximately 4 hours after departure.
