Puerto Plata Buggy Tour

Embark on an exhilarating buggy adventure that takes you through the northern region of the Dominican Republic. This experience is designed for those seeking excitement and unexpected moments!

Tour Overview

We'll begin by collecting you from your hotel at the specified time, after which we will journey towards the town of Muñoz.

Upon arrival, we'll brief you on essential safety protocols. Once equipped with the necessary gear, the exhilarating buggy tour through the lush jungle of the Dominican Republic will commence. Prepare yourself for a rush as you take the wheel of these robust vehicles!

The initial leg of our adventure leads us to a farm in Bulula, where we'll pause briefly to savor a cup of authentic countryside coffee. A perfect start to our journey!

Continuing the expedition, we’ll navigate through a scenic tapestry of mahogany and palm trees, fertile lands, and breathtaking ocean vistas. Interestingly, this very region once served as a retreat for the infamous Pirates of the Caribbean.

Next, we’ll arrive at Bergantín Beach. Here, you have the opportunity to disembark the buggies and immerse yourself in a refreshing swim in its inviting waters.

After enjoying 30 minutes at this beach, we will make our way back to Muñoz in our buggies. Subsequently, we’ll transport you back to your hotel, concluding our adventure approximately 2.5 hours after the initial pickup.

Requirements

• To operate a buggy, participants must be 18 years or older. Children aged 3 to 17 are welcome to join as passengers only.
• Each buggy accommodates four individuals: one driver and up to three passengers, with the option of taking turns behind the wheel for those meeting the age criteria.

Pickup Information

This tour includes pickup from Puerto Plata, Sosúa, and Cabarete. Please take note of the following details:

• For the 9 am tour, pickup in Puerto Plata encompasses Playa Dorada, Costa Dorada, Puerto Taino Bay, Centro, Amber Cove Harbour, and Hacienda Lifestyle.
• For the 1 pm tour, pickups at the Amber Cove and Taino Bay cruise ports in Puerto Plata are also available.
