Motorcycle Excursions from Cali

This motorcycle adventure from Cali invites you to navigate through the stunning landscapes of the Valle del Cauca mountains. You have the flexibility to select the route that piques your interest!

Route Options

During the booking process, you will have the opportunity to choose your preferred motorcycle journey. All packages include round-trip transfers to your accommodation in Cali, the guidance of an English-speaking instructor, motorcycle rental, and necessary safety gear.

Journey to Cristo Rey & Yanaconas (3-4 hours)

Our ride will take us towards the Andes Mountains, covering approximately 8.5 kilometers (5.3 miles) until we reach the impressive Cristo Rey statue. This 26-meter sculpture of Jesus Christ dominates the hill of Cerro Los Cristales, so named due to its quartz deposits. You might find it fascinating that the materials for its creation were transported using mules! As we take in the spectacular views, we will share intriguing stories about the site and take a break for a quick snack.

Next, we will head towards the mountain of the Lady of the Andes, referred to as the Virgin of Yanaconas. From its lookout point, you will enjoy breathtaking panoramic vistas of the Andean scenery. Our motorcycle journey will conclude with a return to Cali.

Journey to Bichacue (5-6 hours)

We will traverse around 20 kilometers (12.4 miles) through the Andes, making a stop at a restaurant with stunning mountain views for a snack of cheese and aguapanela, a traditional beverage. Continuing our journey, we will ride an additional 13 kilometers (8 miles) to Bichacue, a coffee plantation transformed into a natural haven that beautifully merges art with nature. We will delve into this enchanting space, including its unique moss forest, before heading back to Cali.

Journey to the Sugar Cane Museum & Hacienda El Paraíso (8-9 hours)

This excursion will lead us on a 66-kilometer (41-mile) ride through the Cauca Valley to the Sugar Cane Museum. During a two-hour visit, we will explore the history of sugar production within the walls of this 18th-century colonial estate.

Post-museum visit, we will enjoy a traditional lunch featuring sancocho valluno, a hearty meat and vegetable stew. Following the meal, our trip will take us to Hacienda El Paraíso, a 19th-century estate that inspired the acclaimed Colombian author Jorge Isaacs in his literary piece María. We will explore its various rooms while appreciating the beautiful surroundings, its pleasant climate, and the natural swimming pool.

Eligibility Criteria

The listed prices are per motorcycle, with each bike accommodating up to two riders.

To operate the motorcycles, a valid driver's license and prior riding experience are essential. Additionally, regulations prohibit male passengers from riding.

If you do not possess a license or prior experience, you have the option to accompany an experienced driver as a passenger at no additional cost.
