Scuba Diving Introduction

Embark on a journey as a genuine marine adventurer with this diving initiation experience in Cancun. Together, we'll explore the diverse marine life that flourishes in the Caribbean Sea.

Activity Overview

At the scheduled time, we will gather at Hotel Sotavento, located in Cancun's hotel zone, where we will familiarize ourselves with the fundamental scuba diving techniques necessary for open sea exploration.

Our adventure will commence with an enlightening one-hour theoretical session enriched by audio-visual presentations to grasp the foundational concepts of diving. Following this, we will proceed to a controlled water environment for a practical lesson lasting an hour, where we will master how to breathe using the regulator and learn some essential underwater communication techniques.

Subsequently, we will make our way to Manchones Reef, an enchanting 12-kilometre (7.5 miles) stretch featuring vibrant coral and tropical fishes. During two dives, we will descend to a depth of 10 metres (32 feet), where we will immerse ourselves in the abundant marine biodiversity. The serenity found beneath the waves is extraordinary, and we may spot turtles and manta rays gracefully gliding along the ocean floor! Additionally, we will explore the fascinating MUSA Underwater Museum.

After this remarkable diving experience, we will conclude the introduction to diving and return to our starting point following a captivating five-hour exploration.
