What to See at Chichen Itza?

Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World, Chichén Itzá features the impressive Temple of Kukulcan, also known as El Castillo, standing 30 meters (98 ft) tall. This structure reflects the advanced architectural and astronomical expertise of the Maya, with its design based on the solar calendar.

Nearby, The Ball Game can be found, which is the largest in Mesoamerica. Its size is astonishing, but the most remarkable feature is its acoustics—whispers at one end can be heard clearly at the other!

Explore the Temple of the Warriors, an impressive collection of columns adorned with figures of Toltec warriors, and the Thousand Columns Group. To learn more about Maya astronomy, don't miss the El Caracol Observatory, whose circular architecture aligns perfectly with celestial bodies, showcasing the remarkable precision of this civilization in studying the skies.

You can also visit the Sacred Cenote, a natural well measuring 60 meters (196 ft) in diameter, critical to the ritual practices of the Mayas, where offerings to gods were made, and various valuable objects were discovered, highlighting its significance in Mayan culture.

What to See at Tulum?

With its white sand beaches and turquoise waters, Tulum is an enchanting destination ideal for enjoying nature, exploring ancient Mayan ruins, and relaxing under the sun.

This archaeological site is crucial in the Mexican Caribbean. By booking a guided tour of Tulum, you will uncover the rise and fall of this ancient walled city, whose temples were constructed between 1200 and 1450.

To enhance your stay in Tulum, consider a day trip to Laguna de Kaan Luum and Mayan cenotes, a day trip to Isla Contoy and Isla Mujeres, or snorkeling in Tulum.

What to See in Playa del Carmen?

Renowned as one of the most famous destinations in the Mexican Caribbean, Playa del Carmen features stunning beaches with white sand and turquoise waters. Its close proximity to Chichén Itzá makes it an ideal base for day trips to one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World.

Maximize your visit by exploring theme parks like Xcaret or the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve.

What to See at Mérida?

Traveling to Mérida on the Maya Train lets you explore a location rich in history, culture, and Colonial charm in the heart of the Yucatán Peninsula. Take a leisurely walk through its colorful streets and discover its Prehispanic and Colonial Spanish heritage while savoring the local cuisine.

A free tour of Mérida or a food tour are excellent ways to enjoy the sights and tastes of this vibrant city.
