If indulging in delightful Turkish coffee in Cappadocia excites you, this is a perfect opportunity to learn its preparation. Our journey takes us to the Owl Cave, the venue for our Turkish coffee workshop. Let the experience begin!

Upon arrival and settling in, we will proceed to warm the pan, known as kumdanlik, where sand will be heated to create the ideal temperature. Following that, we will pour cold water into a small copper pot, or cezve, and incorporate the finely ground coffee.

Next, we will set the cezve on the heated sand. As the coffee warms slowly, the inviting aroma will fill the air. Ever wondered why Turkish coffee ranks among the world's most aromatic varieties? This workshop will reveal the secrets! Once we see a steady froth forming, we'll take it off the sand and serve it in traditional porcelain coffee cups.

You will discover just how challenging it can be to pour coffee from the cezve into the cups while immersing yourself in the culture of Turkish coffee. To round off the experience, you will enjoy this delightful beverage accompanied by a glass of water and some traditional sweets. Additionally, there will be an opportunity to sample Turkish tea.
