Surf Lesson Overview

Our adventure begins at the scheduled hour when you will be collected from your designated pickup point or hotel in southern Fuerteventura, leading us to a scenic beach in Jandía, where your surf lesson is set to unfold. Let’s embark on this journey!

Upon arrival, you will partake in a small group surf lesson, accommodating 6 to 8 participants max. The instruction will be tailored to suit the varying skill levels, making it ideal for novices eager to dive into surfing or those with previous experience.

We will initiate the lesson with a brief warm-up and stretching session before practicing essential surfing movements on the beach: mastering your stance on the surfboard and perfecting the much-anticipated take-off moment where you rise up. Following this, we will transition into the water! Your instructor will guide you in selecting optimal waves while providing valuable feedback to enhance your technique.

Throughout this 3.5-hour session, you will master various positions necessary to ride the waves of Jandía with confidence. Experience firsthand why this locale is heralded as one of the prime surfing destinations in the Canary Islands.

Once the lesson concludes, we will return to the pickup point or your hotel, with an anticipated arrival time of approximately 4.5 hours after departure.

Pickup Information

For those opting for the lesson with pickup, we will gather you from your accommodation situated in the following areas of southern Fuerteventura: Costa Calma, La Pared, Jandía, Butihondo, Esquinzo, and Morro Jable.

If you prefer to join the lesson without pickup, we will convene at the Playa del Viejo Rey parking lot in Jandía. At that point, you will need to navigate to the sand where the session will occur, following the instructor's vehicle.

Schedule of Activities

The timing of the surf lesson will be contingent upon the weather and tidal conditions, with a starting range of between 8:30 am and 2:30 pm. The local provider will confirm the exact start time the day before the lesson.
