Submarine Expedition in Cozumel
At the appointed time, our adventure begins with a gathering in front of Casa del Mar in Cozumel, setting the stage for our thrilling underwater voyage.
Before diving into the depths, we'll have a short safety briefing, followed by a transfer by boat to the platform where the submarine awaits. Once aboard the splendid Atlantis XII, we embark on a journey to uncover the stunning marine beauty beneath the waves.
Slowly, we will descend beneath the Caribbean Sea, where we'll start to spot the vibrant marine life. Over the course of the 45-minute dive, we will encounter fascinating creatures like turtles, sharks, manta rays, and numerous tropical fish. This enchanting excursion is truly a unique opportunity!
Our journey will take us to the renowned 2000 ft Cozumel wall, followed by a visit to the intriguing Felipe Xicoténcatl shipwreck, which was intentionally sunk in 2000. During the trip, you'll discover insightful details about its captivating history and the reasons for its resting place.
Upon concluding this extraordinary adventure, we will ascend to the surface, where our boat will be ready to transport us back to the mainland.

Información importante
We will meet up at the chosen time at the Atlantis Submarines facilities (Road to Chankanaab KM 4), in front of the Casa del Mar Cozumel hotel. Please arrive at least 40 minutes in advance.
Taxes Not Included
On the day of the activity, you must pay an environmental tax to enter the marine park of 13USD, which isn't included.
Additional Info
- For safety reasons, participants must be able to climb and descend 12 steps without assistance to access the submarine; handrails are available.
- For children, the minimum height requirement is 90 cm (2 ft 9) and 4 years of age.
- Children are considered to be from 4 years old to 12 years old. Children under 3 years of age are not admitted.
- All participants pay admission and minors must always be accompanied by an adult.
- Pregnant women, without previous complications, can take part in the activity up to the 6th month of pregnancy.
- Access in swimming costumes and/or barefoot is not allowed.
- Pets of any kind are not allowed.
- Only 1 personal item such as a handbag or small backpack is allowed, and it must fit over the legs. Dimensions must not exceed 45 x 35 x 20 cm.
- The operation of the tour is subject to permissible weather conditions.
- The local provider reserves the right of admission in case of adverse safety conditions.
- In case of not following and/or not complying with the indicated safety instructions, the passenger will not be allowed to continue with the activity and no refund will apply.
