Upon reservation, you can select a private tour lasting either 4 or 8 hours, led by a dedicated English-speaking guide. We'll begin our journey from any location you prefer, whether at your hotel or another key area within Cusco.

4-hour tour

Our adventure will kick off at a central meeting point in Cusco or your accommodation. We’ll embark on a walking tour through what once served as the capital of the Inca Empire many centuries ago. This exclusive tour allows you to observe how the influence of pre-Columbian culture beautifully merges with the colonial architecture introduced by the Spanish.

During the guided stroll, we'll pause at various significant sites to appreciate the exterior of Cusco's prominent buildings. Since this is a private experience, if something piques your interest and you wish to explore indoors, we can certainly accommodate that!

Our first destination will be the Church of San Cristobal, set in the square sharing its name. From this vantage point, you’ll grasp why it is recognized as the top viewpoint in Cusco.

Next, we will venture into the Central Market of San Pedro, where you’ll gain insight into the day-to-day life of Cusco residents. Here, colorful food stalls offer fresh fruits, local snacks, and unique items sourced from the Amazon. We'll delve into this vibrant market to discover its main offerings.

There’s a saying that walking through Cusco resembles wandering through a grand open-air museum, and our following stop exemplifies this. The Inca temple of Coricancha, translating to "Golden Temple" in Quechua, stands as the city’s most striking monument. Although its once gold-covered walls are no longer intact, the temple's grandeur endures. Built atop this ancient site dedicated to the Sun God lies the church and convent of Santo Domingo, which features a museum showcasing Inca artifacts unearthed during excavations.

Continuing our ascent, we will arrive at the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, a remarkable testament to Incan military ingenuity. Afterwards, we’ll explore further into Inca architecture at the archaeological site of Q'enko.

Our journey will conclude back at the central Plaza de Armas, where we'll visit the Cathedral of Cusco, notable for its rich collection of colonial art. Here, after 4 hours of discovery, we’ll wrap up our private exploration of Cusco, enriched with the history and intriguing tales that this city has to offer.

8-hour tour

For those seeking a more extensive experience, choosing the 8-hour tour gives us additional time to further explore Cusco’s center and its museums, such as the MAP or the Inka Museum. You will have the opportunity to deepen your understanding of Cusco’s pre-Columbian heritage, visit the charming San Blas neighborhood, and see the famed Twelve-Angled Stone as well as the viewpoint of the White Christ. The itinerary is flexible, allowing you to select the destinations!

This option also includes an hour and a half of free time for lunch, allowing you to indulge in a meal wherever you prefer.
