Your journey begins at 10 am with a convenient pick-up from your accommodation as we embark on this enlightening exploration of Aguascalientes' historic haciendas.

Our first stop is El Chichimeco, an 18th-century estate that was owned by the Armillita family, well-known for their connections to the world of bullfighting. Here, we will take a guided tour of the farmhouse, where various artefacts related to bullfighting—including costumes, trophies, and historical newspapers—are displayed.

Next, we'll make our way to the Garabato Hacienda followed by the neoclassical Basilica of San Isidro. At the hacienda, one of the pioneers in the breeding of fighting bulls in Mexico, we will delve into the compelling history of this traditional sport.

Our journey continues to San Blas, a 17th-century hacienda that houses the Insurgencia Museum. As we stroll through the porticoed courtyard, we will uncover the story of Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla's deposition and the significant Battle of Calderón Bridge. This land also lies adjacent to the Camino Real de Tierra Adentro, a historic trade route extending 2560 kilometers from Mexico City to Santa Fe.
