Embark on an immersive journey through Oncol Park, where the Valdiviana jungle unfolds in its full glory. This area is recognized as one of the most important forestry reserves in Los Ríos.

Hiking in Oncol Park

At the scheduled time, our team will collect you from your accommodation in Valdivia to begin our excursion to Oncol Park, a magnificent forestry reserve known for its breathtaking landscapes within the Valdivian jungle.

Upon arrival, we will commence our hiking adventure, leading us to the summit of the peak. Did you know that this peak rises over 700 metres (2,295 feet)? From the summit, a panorama of the Los Ríos region will unfold before your eyes.

As we traverse the trail, keep an eye out for various tree species, including lumas, chinaberry, cinnamon, and podocarp. These exquisite species thrive across an expanse of 2800 hectares. Prepare to be captivated by the scenery!

After completing our descent, we’ll return to Valdivia. On our way back, there will be a short stop at Pilolcura Beach, where we can observe some of the area's marine birdlife. It’s an experience you won’t want to miss!

We will conclude our journey at the original meeting point approximately 7 hours after our adventure begins.
