Quindío Coffee Experience

On the morning of our journey, we will gather at the Parish Church of Nuestra Señora del Carmen located in Buenavista. This will mark the beginning of our enjoyable exploration through the coffee farms that encompass this charming Colombian area.

During our time together, we will delve into the coffee heritage of Quindío, discussing how this beloved product shapes the daily lives of the locals. Have you ever wondered how coffee seeds are sown or how many families depend on its harvest? What is the coffee culture like in this part of Colombia? We’ll address these inquiries and more as we stroll through the plantations.

Midway through the excursion, we will visit a traditional farm specializing in coffee, bananas, and other local fruits. Here, you'll have the chance to converse with the family managing the farm, gaining insights into their way of life and understanding the journey of each coffee bean from plant to cup. Subsequently, we will take a moment to enjoy a traditional lunch from Quindío, complemented by a freshly brewed cup of coffee.

At the conclusion of our four-hour journey through the vibrant coffee fields of Quindío, we will return to Buenavista.
