São Francisco River Day Trip

Embark on a day excursion to the São Francisco River departing from Aracaju, where you'll witness its confluence with the Atlantic Ocean. This journey reveals one of the most stunning natural attractions in the northeast of Brazil.

Trip Overview

Your adventure begins with a pickup at your specified time from your hotel in Aracaju, after which we will set off toward the São Francisco River. Familiarly referred to as Velho Chico, this river is a remarkable feature of northeastern Brazil.

Upon arriving at the riverside, a relaxing boat ride on the São Francisco River awaits. During our cruise through Velho Chico, we will pass by several notable filming locations for popular series and movies, including the acclaimed Deus é Brasileiro.

As we progress on the vessel towards the river's mouth, where it meets the Atlantic Ocean, you'll be captivated by breathtaking landscapes featuring mangroves, dunes, coconut plantations, and river islands. This setting provides an excellent opportunity for photography as we navigate through these scenic vistas.

After soaking in the views at the river's entrance, we will continue our journey with a scheduled stop for a refreshing swim. Following this invigorating dip, we will proceed to a local restaurant, where you'll enjoy an hour of free time for lunch.

Once lunch is concluded, we will retrace our route back to the starting point and return to Aracaju. You can expect arrival at your hotel between 11 AM and noon following the pickup.

Boat Excursion

Subject to availability, the cost of the boat ride may or may not be included in the tour price. If it is a separate charge on the day of your trip, please be aware that children under 6 years do not incur a fee.

Pickup Information

This experience includes pickup from hotels situated in the central district of Orla de Aracaju. For accommodations outside this area, alternative meeting points will be provided.
