Upon making a reservation, you will have the option to select from four distinct walking trails. Each excursion includes both pickup and drop-off service at your hotel in Angra do Heroísmo and has a duration of two and a half hours.

Monte Brasil Trail

Struggling to decide between exploring urban settings and lush landscapes? Experience the best of both worlds as we embark on our journey starting from Relvão Park. Our first stop will be the São João Baptista Fortress, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From this historical landmark, we will make our way to uncover the picturesque corners of the lovely town of Angra do Heroísmo. The adventure will culminate in nature as we explore the four peaks of Monte Brasil.

Rocha do Chambre Trail

We will depart from Malha Grande in the Bioscoitos region, ready to immerse ourselves in the breathtaking scenery of the Azores. This trail will lead us through the Rocha do Chambre area, allowing us to discover the unique flora and fauna endemic to the island. Keep an eye out for the stunning cedar trees as we cross the wooden bridge!

Baías da Agualva Trail

Commencing near Pico dos Loiros, this walking trail takes us past historical structures and stone walls once utilized for vine protection, revealing the winemaking heritage of Terceira. As we continue, we will pause at one of the trail's most impressive sites: the Bay of Pombas, where striking cliffs descend into the ocean. Along the way, enjoy opportunities for birdwatching and a visit to Ponta do Misterio to appreciate the untamed beauty of Baias da Agualva.

San Sebastián Fortresses Trail

Our excursion will kick off along the road to Punta de las Contendas, where we will encounter the eponymous lighthouse. Discover the ancient fortifications erected to protect the island, such as the Fort of Greta, Forte de Santa Catarina das Mós, and the Fort of Bom Jesus. The trail will conclude in the central square of San Sebastian.
