Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your chosen meeting spot in San Salvador, leading us towards a stunning national park characterized by lakes and volcanoes. Here, you will encounter the awe-inspiring Santa Ana Volcano, commonly referred to as Llamatepec, which towers at an impressive 7,812 feet above sea level.

After approximately an hour and a half of travel, we will arrive at the base of the volcano and set off on our trek to the third highest peak in El Salvador. Along the trail, you’ll discover several breathtaking viewpoints that showcase the stunning landscapes surrounding you.

Upon reaching the summit, you will delve into the intriguing geological history that spans two million years. Marvel at the majestic crater and the picturesque green lagoon nestled within it.

As you take a well-deserved break, enjoy remarkable views of the Coatepeque Lake along with the Izalco and Cerro Verde volcanoes, set against the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean!

After concluding the hike, we will make our way back to the original meeting point in San Salvador.

If you prefer to be collected from your hotel in San Salvador, please note there is an additional fee of 10USD per person, payable in cash on the day of the tour. If your pick-up is from accommodation in Tunco, the fee will be 20USD per person.
