Excursion to Granada

Your adventure begins at 5:40 am when a convenient pickup will be arranged at the bus stop on Avenida Litora in Estepona. After gathering participants from various points along the Costa del Sol, the journey to Granada, the esteemed former capital of the Nasrid Kingdom, will commence.

Upon arrival in Granada, the first destination will be the magnificent Alhambra. This segment of the tour kicks off at the Palace of Charles V, a stunning structure commissioned in the 16th century by the emperor himself.

Next, attendees will delve into the Nasrid Palaces, where the iconic Comares Palace and the renowned Palace of the Lions await, celebrated for its remarkable fountain. Throughout the exploration, insights into the unique Andalusian architectural style of this UNESCO World Heritage site will be highlighted.

The journey through the Alhambra continues with a visit to the enchanting Generalife gardens, where the delightful scents of blooming flora in vibrant flowerbeds will captivate your senses.

Following the Alhambra tour, the itinerary will lead us into the heart of Granada for a walking tour featuring its principal landmarks. After this guided segment, participants will have two hours of leisure time for lunch and to explore the historical center of the city at their own pace. Be sure not to overlook the Royal Chapel, the burial site of the Catholic Monarchs!

In the late afternoon, the return journey to Estepona will begin, with an expected arrival roughly ten hours after the initial pickup.
