Audio Guide for Alhambra Access

Your journey commences with access to the monumental site where you can use an English audio guide to delve into the heritage of this historic fortress at your convenience. The itinerary includes key sites such as the Alcazaba, the Palace of Charles V, and the verdant Generalife Gardens.

Should you select the relevant option, you will have entry to the Nasrid Palaces at the scheduled time, allowing you to appreciate the renowned Court of the Lions and the detailed architecture of the royal chambers.

Panoramic Exploration of Granada

Following your time at the Alhambra, you’ll board a comfortable bus with a guide who will lead you on a route crafted to reach the highest and most iconic viewpoints in Granada, offering perfect opportunities for memorable photos.

Stops will be made at notable viewpoints such as San Nicolás, San Cristóbal, and San Miguel Alto. These locations provide breathtaking vistas of the Alhambra framed by the Sierra Nevada — a sight sure to leave a lasting impression.

When booking, you are invited to select from the following options:

• Alhambra Without Nasrid Palaces + Panoramic Tour: This package provides access to the Alcazaba, the Palace of Charles V, and the Generalife along with its gardens and summer residence. You will enjoy sweeping views of the complex, excluding access to the former sultans' residential areas.
• Alhambra With Nasrid Palaces + Panoramic Tour: Ideal for those aiming to explore the Nasrid Palaces, the centerpiece of the Alhambra. This includes the Mexuar, the Palace of Comares, the Court of the Myrtles, the Throne Room of Yusuf I, and the Palace of the Lions.

Meeting Locations

• Panoramic Tour: Meet at number 32 Paseo de la Sabica or Plaza Mariana Pineda.
• Alhambra: Gather at number 32 Paseo de la Sabica.

Tour Timings

• Panoramic Tour: Departure times are set for 12:15 pm from Paseo de la Sabica and 12:35 pm from Plaza Mariana Pineda. Please be aware that the route is fixed, and boarding and alighting occur only at designated stops in the presence of the guide. Note that this panoramic experience is solely available on weekends and public holidays.
• General visiting hours for the Alhambra:
  • From October 15 to March 31: 8:30 am to 6 pm
  • From April 1 to October 14: 8:30 am to 8 pm
• Access to Nasrid Palaces: If you utilize the bus service on the day of your Alhambra visit, entry is available at 3 pm, 4 pm, or 5 pm. If you choose to take the bus on another date, access will largely depend on availability, within a timeframe from 8:30 am to 5 pm.

Relevant Information

It is possible to explore the Alhambra and partake in the panoramic tour on the same day you select for your booking, or one day prior or subsequent. These two activities do not need to occur on the same day.
