Your journey begins at 9 am, where a convenient pickup from your hotel will take you to the Huangpu old port, a key factor in establishing Guangzhou as a vital trading hub in China.

Upon reaching Huangpu, we will enter its history museum to delve into the port's significant role in the ancient Silk Road and the Opium trade. We will also stop at the renowned Pak Tai Temple, famous for its large incense sticks that fill the air with fragrance.

Next, we'll explore the natural beauty of Lychee Bay, a series of rivers and lakes flowing into the Pearl River. After vanishing due to industrial development in 1992, the bay was restored after a decade-long effort, reopening in 2010. Here, we’ll stroll across various bridges, including the notable Longjing Bridge, measuring 57 meters, and take in views of the Wen Tower, erected during the Qing Dynasty.

Our walk will then continue along the Beijing Road Ancient Avenue, one of Guangzhou's historic shopping streets at 1,500 meters long. A break for lunch will follow at a local eatery, where you can indulge in authentic Cantonese cuisine (meal cost not included).

Post-lunch, we'll explore the vast expanse of Yuexiu Park, featuring 86 hectares filled with serene lakes, museums, and the iconic statue of The Legend of the Five Goats, a symbol of the city.

The last stop on our tour will be the General Sun Yat-sen Memorial Museum, dedicated to the influential leader who founded the first Chinese Republic in the early 20th century, earning the title of father of the Republic and modern China. In addition to the museum, we'll wander through its beautiful gardens and pause to learn more about Sun Yat-sen at the statue erected in his honor.

Your enlightening tour of Guangzhou will conclude with a return to your hotel around 5 pm.
