Activity Overview

At the scheduled time, we will meet you at your Hanoi hotel to embark on an exceptional journey in Vietnam's capital. Get ready for an enlightening coffee workshop in Hanoi!

Your experience begins at a renowned café where, after introductions, we will dive into the rich history of Vietnamese coffee. A fascinating fact: the famous egg coffee was created by Nguyen Van Giang in 1946 amidst the First Indochina War. Due to a shortage of dairy products, eggs were whipped to create a frothy cream for coffee, leading to a beloved drink still enjoyed today!

Once preparations are complete, we will explore six different varieties of Vietnamese coffee, starting with the unique egg coffee. You'll be impressed as we whip the egg to create a velvety foam, showcasing an incredible technique!

Next, we will learn the traditional pour-over method, which accentuates the sweet and fruity notes of the coffee beans while minimizing bitterness. Additionally, we will prepare a classic coconut coffee, a delightful blend that offers both smoothness and energy.

We will then focus on the robust brown coffee, renowned for its strong flavor. Experience the intriguing salted coffee from Hue, where hints of bitterness and salt create a surprising yet delightful balance. To finish this tasting journey, you'll enjoy a coffee cocktail with aguardiente, a final sip that will enchant your palate.

As the workshop concludes, we’ll return to your hotel, wrapping up this enjoyable 3.5-hour experience with heartfelt farewells.
