Prepare for an exciting exploration of Hanoi! A knowledgeable guide will meet you at your hotel in the Hoan Kiem district to commence this memorable journey.

The first stop will be Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, situated on Golden Fish Island in West Lake. With origins dating back to the 6th century, this tranquil site is rich in history.

Next, visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, where you can observe the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh in the mausoleum. You will also have the opportunity to stroll through the gardens and explore the two houses where this esteemed leader lived and worked.

Continuing on, we’ll stop at the One Pillar Pagoda, a remarkable 11th-century structure dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy. Following this, our visit to the Vietnam Ethnology Museum will provide insight into the diverse cultures of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups.

Amidst the sights, we’ll take a break for a delicious lunch featuring eight traditional Vietnamese dishes, allowing you to savor the country’s culinary heritage.

In the afternoon, explore the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, established in the 11th century. We’ll conclude our day at the Hoa Lo Prison Museum, often referred to as the “Hanoi Hilton,” where you’ll learn about its crucial role during the French colonial era and the Vietnam War.

After approximately eight to eight and a half hours of discovery, you will return to your hotel with a profound appreciation for Hanoi's rich history and culture.

Itinerary Adjustments

• The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed on Mondays, Fridays, and for annual maintenance from June 15 to August 15.
• On Mondays, the stop at the Vietnam Ethnology Museum will be replaced with the Women’s Museum, which offers insights into the stories of Vietnamese women throughout history.
• Please note that the itinerary may change due to weather conditions.
