Embark on a day trip to explore one of the most stunning natural coastal regions in Mexico with this excursion to Bahía de Kino and Sonora  departing from Hermosillo.

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Hermosillo at 10 am, followed by a bus journey to the charming coastal town of Bahía de Kino.

Our first stop will be the remarkable Bosque de Sahuaros, a notable ecosystem characteristic of the Sonoran Desert. As we stroll through this habitat, you will encounter monumental cacti, some reaching heights of 15 m (49.2 ft) and over 200 years old. This walking tour will reveal how the sahuaro serves as a vital ecological element, offering sanctuary to birds, acting as a natural water source, and holding spiritual significance for indigenous communities.

Following our exploration of the forest, we will head to the Bahía de Kino pier, where you can take photographs with the iconic colorful sign and enjoy splendid panoramic vistas of the coastline. Additionally, there’s an opportunity to visit the Seris Ethnic Museum, where you can delve into the fascinating aspects of the Conca'ac culture and view ancient ironwood artefacts. Afterward, you will have an hour of leisure to relish lunch at the Mariscos Bahía Restaurant.

Finally, take advantage of an hour of free time to refresh yourself at the beach. At the conclusion of your day, we will return to Hermosillo, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel around 8 pm.
