Snorkeling Adventure with Whale Sharks in Holbox

We'll convene at Calle Palomino at the scheduled time, where the day begins with a delightful breakfast featuring yogurt, granola, fresh fruit, and warm bread, complemented by your choice of coffee or tea. An excellent way to kickstart our journey!

During breakfast, safety guidelines will be shared, and you'll receive your snorkeling equipment. Once we're all set, we'll make our way to the dock and embark on our boat, which will navigate the warm waters of the Mexican Caribbean. Along the way, we will share intriguing details about whale sharks. Did you know they are the largest fish species, capable of reaching lengths of up to 12 meters (39 feet)?

Once we arrive, we’ll don our snorkeling gear and venture into the ocean to spot various whale sharks. You'll learn about how these magnificent creatures gather annually to feed on plankton found along the borders of the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea, allowing for a glimpse into their natural environment!

But the adventure doesn’t stop with whale sharks! Keep your eyes peeled for hawksbill turtles and devil rays as we swim alongside these extraordinary fish. After our close encounters, we'll set sail back, making a stop at Los Cuevones reef near Cabo Catoche. Here, we will re-enter the water, equipped with our snorkeling gear, to explore diverse marine life, including cat sharks, octopuses, and squid.

After working up an appetite, we’ll enjoy a tasty meal of either fish or mango ceviche at Santa Paula, an ideal spot to unwind and soak up the sun. It’s sure to be a delight!

As our adventure comes to a close after approximately 6 to 7 hours, we will return to the original meeting point.
