Your adventure begins at 9:30 am, as we pick you up from your lodging in Horta. Are you ready to explore the wonders of this gem in the Azores?

We will commence our exploration at the Nossa Senhora da Conceição viewpoint, offering breathtaking vistas of Praia do Almoxarife, Horta, the Marina, Monte Queimado, and Monte da Guia.

Our next destination will be Caldeira, a significant natural marvel on Faial Island and recognized as one of the largest volcanic craters within the Azores archipelago.

Continuing onward, we’ll visit the Ribeira das Cabras viewpoint, where panoramic views of Fajã da Praia do Norte and the Capelo peninsula unfold before us. Transitioning into a unique landscape, we will arrive at the Capelinhos Volcano, which erupted between 1957 and 1958. Here, we’ll explore the Capelinhos Volcano Interpretation Center and stroll through the Capelo Forest Park.

To conclude our exhilarating day, we will visit the Monte da Guia viewpoint, relishing in the astonishing coastal views it provides.

After approximately 8 hours of discovery and adventure across the island, we will return you to your hotel in Horta.
