Private Lake Churup Hike

Our adventure begins at 7 am, where we will gather at 710 Calle Jirón 29 de Julio in Huaraz. From there, we will embark on a three-hour journey towards the village of Pitec, nestled within Huascaran National Park.

Upon our arrival in Pitec, we will begin our ascent, exploring various trails as we make our way to Lake Churup. The climb is expected to take around four hours, navigating rocky paths while enjoying spectacular views of the Shaqsha and Cashan mountains, both part of the Cordillera Blanca.

Upon reaching Lake Churup, situated at an altitude of 4485 meters (14700 feet), we will be greeted by the majestic Churup peak, known for its unique geological features. At this serene location, you'll have plenty of free time for a leisurely lunch while soaking in the beauty of the Andean landscape.

Our descent will take us back through the ravine to Pitec, where we will board our vehicle for the return trip to Huaraz. We expect to be back at your meeting point between 4 and 5 pm.
