3-Day Highlands & Isle of Skye Experience

Day 1: Inverness - Loch Ness - Harry Potter Train - Isle of Skye

Our journey begins at 15 Union Street in Inverness. Get ready for an unforgettable exploration into the stunning Scottish Highlands!

The first highlight is the infamous Loch Ness, famed for its elusive inhabitant, Nessie. As we navigate the shores, keep an eye out for hints of this legendary creature. Next, we’ll explore the historic Urquhart Castle, renowned for its impressive views over Loch Ness.

Our Highland tour continues with a visit to the Commando Monument, a memorial honoring the courageous soldiers of World War II. In the backdrop, you’ll have a chance to view Ben Nevis, the tallest peak in the UK, soaring majestically in the distance.

Afterward, we’ll make our way to Fort William, the starting point of the Hogwarts Express. Climb aboard the Jacobite train to experience breathtaking sights of the Highlands and the charming Scottish west coast, a journey that will leave a lasting impression.

Upon arriving at Mallaig, you’ll have free time for lunch at a local eatery before we ferry across to the magical Isle of Skye. After reaching the island, we’ll guide you to Portree, where you can relax at your hotel until the next day.

Note: From April 14 to 27, please be aware that the crossing will occur via bus instead of ferry.

Day 2: Isle of Skye

After a hearty breakfast at our hotel in Portree, we delve into the wonders of the Isle of Skye. Our first stop will be the captivating Fairy Pools, where stunning waterfalls cascade along the River Brittle. Listen to the enchanting legends that surround this picturesque area.

Next, we’ll visit the quaint village of Dunvegan, where you can enjoy some free time for lunch. Refreshed, we’ll set out to discover Quiraing, a breathtaking landscape leading to the magnificent Kilt Rock waterfall and the iconic Old Man of Storr. You’ll quickly see why these spots are among the most photographed locations on the island.

As the day winds down, we’ll return to Portree, the largest town on the Isle of Skye, where you can spend the afternoon wandering through its charming streets and immersing yourself in the local culture.

Day 3: Portree - Eilean Donan Castle - Culloden - Inverness

After breakfast, we bid farewell to Skye and head towards Eilean Donan Castle, a must-see landmark in the Highlands. Following our visit, we proceed to the village of Beauly for lunch at your leisure.

Our next stop is a whisky distillery, where you will get insights into Scotland’s most famous spirit. Then, we’ll explore the historical grounds of the Battle of Culloden, a pivotal chapter in the region's past. Finally, we will visit the ancient monoliths of Clava Cairns, a significant site for fans of the series Outlander.

Our three-day journey will conclude with a return to Inverness in the early afternoon.

Included in this tour are 2 nights in a double room with breakfast at a hotel in Portree, offering a B&B atmosphere.
