Your journey will commence with a pickup from your accommodation in Kitulgala at 4 PM for this night-time hiking adventure.

Our first destination will be the town of Hatton, positioned at the base of the mountain. Once we arrive around 6 PM, we will initiate our trek toward the summit of Adam's Peak, the hallowed mountain of Sri Lanka.

Rising to an impressive height of 7,359 ft (2,243 meters), this trek presents over 5,000 steps en route! The endeavor to reach the country's foremost pilgrimage site promises to be rewarding, not only for its spiritual significance but also for the breathtaking landscapes that await us.

Do you know that Buddha's footprint is housed at the peak? As we ascend, you'll uncover intriguing stories and folklore tied to this majestic region.

By around midnight, we will arrive at the summit, perfectly timed for the stunning spectacle of the shadow of Adam's Peak cast beautifully across the valley! We’ll spend approximately an hour at the summit, savoring the vistas before we begin our descent to the town of Dalhousie, which we expect to reach by 6:30 AM.

To conclude our adventure, we will enjoy a nutritious breakfast before boarding the minibus that will transport you back to your hotel in Kitulgala, with an anticipated arrival around 9:30 AM.
