The historical city of Malacca, also known as Melaka and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, presents a rich tapestry of cultural heritage. Join this full-day journey from Kuala Lumpur to delve into its compelling past.

Trip Overview

We will begin our adventure with a timely pickup at your hotel in Kuala Lumpur, followed by a scenic drive to Malacca, one of the country’s most storied destinations.

After approximately two hours on the road, we will arrive in the charming old town, where you will participate in a guided exploration of Malacca's historic core. Our first stop will be St. Peter's Church, the oldest Roman Catholic church in the nation. From there, we'll gain insights into the Portuguese influence in the region at the Santiago Gate, the last remnant of the A Famosa fortress.

Subsequently, the itinerary includes a visit to the Malacca Museum and Red Square, celebrated for its vibrant red landmarks, including the distinguished Christ Church. This locale is ideal for uncovering Malacca's captivating history.

Following our cultural immersion, we'll enjoy a traditional Malaysian lunch at a local eatery. Post-meal, we’ll proceed to Jonker Street, known for its shopping opportunities, and pass by the Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, the oldest Buddhist shrine in Malaysia.

Our tour will conclude with a leisurely stroll alongside the river before returning to Kuala Lumpur, with an expected arrival at your hotel around ten hours from the time of pickup.

Option Without Lunch

Should you prefer to dine independently in Malacca, an option without lunch is available. In this scenario, you will have one hour of free time to explore local dining options while the larger group visits the assigned restaurant.

Hotel Pickup Information

This tour provides hotel pickup from the Golden Triangle area of Kuala Lumpur, excluding the neighborhoods of Pudu, Chow Kit, KL Sentral, Brickfields, the Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur Chinatown Hotel, the Olympic Malaysia Hotel, the Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur Hotel, and the YWCA Kuala Lumpur Hotel.

If your accommodation is situated elsewhere, we will arrange for you to be picked up at the main entrance of the Berjaya Times Square Shopping Centre at the scheduled time.

Pickup is arranged for a minimum of 2 participants. For a booking of only one person, you will be collected at the designated meeting point.

For pickups outside the outlined meeting points and designated areas in Kuala Lumpur, an additional charge of 50RM per person will apply.

Notice on Partial Access

Please be advised that St. Peter's Church and Red Square will not be accessible on Mondays. Additionally, visitors to the church should avoid wearing shorts.

Essential Information

Be informed that hotel pickups will not be available on June 28, 2026, or on October 3 and 4, 2026, due to a significant event affecting local traffic. On these occasions, we will convene at the established time at the main entrance of Berjaya Times Square shopping mall.
