At the arranged time, we will gather on the periphery of La Fortuna to prepare for this unique wildlife experience.

Our adventure will take us into the park, where we will spend approximately 1.5 to 2 hours navigating a trail leading us to the sloths, one of the most iconic species native to the region. Whether they are suspended from branches, peeking playfully from behind foliage, or nestled on the forest floor, you're likely to encounter sloths throughout the park! Can you identify if they are two-toed or three-toed sloths?

As we wander through the vibrant rainforest and observe these animals in their natural surroundings, you will learn about the park's mission of caring for orphaned sloths and rehabilitating those who are injured. What a wonderful opportunity to engage with such an adorable species!

During your explorations on the sloth trail, don't be alarmed if the animals appear somewhat lethargic! True to their name, sloths tend to move at a slow pace, often remaining motionless for up to 90 percent of the day.
