Day 1: Havana - Cienfuegos

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Havana at the scheduled time. We'll embark on a comfortable taxi ride towards Cienfuegos, arriving after approximately 3.5 hours. Once we reach this historic city, you can check into your hotel, unwind, and enjoy lunch at your leisure.

Later in the afternoon, we'll reconvene for a 3-hour guided exploration of Cienfuegos. Our tour will take us through Plaza José Martí, starting from Calle San Andres, where we will visit notable sites like La Aduana park and the scenic seafront promenade. The excursion will conclude at Punta Gorda, where you can take in the stunning views of Cienfuegos and its bay.

After the tour, you'll return to your hotel for the evening.

Day 2: Cienfuegos - Trinidad

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel in Cienfuegos, we will depart for Trinidad, with an estimated travel time of 1.5 hours.

Upon arrival and settling into your accommodation, you'll have the afternoon free for your own exploration of this charming town. Stroll through the neo-baroque Plaza Mayor, marvel at the historic Church of the Holy Trinity, or wander the cobblestone streets, captivated by the vibrant buildings that define the town’s character.

Day 3: Trinidad

Our morning will start with a delightful breakfast, followed by an extensive 3-hour guided tour of Trinidad at 10 am. We'll uncover the town’s historical core, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988, discovering its most significant sites.

During the tour, we'll delve into Trinidad's past as we visit Plaza Mayor, Casa de la Trova, and the Romantic Museum, while also acknowledging the somber aspects of local history encompassing the lives of enslaved individuals.

The afternoon will then be yours to continue exploring Trinidad at your own pace.

Day 4: Trinidad - Santa Clara

After a satisfying breakfast, we will set off from Trinidad towards Santa Clara. Upon arrival in the city known as the “City of the Revolution”, you can check in to your hotel and take some time to relax.

Later in the day, we will gather for a guided tour focused on the Cuban Revolution and its pivotal moments in this city. Key visits will include the Mausoleum of Che Guevara, resting place of Che and 29 fellow revolutionaries, as well as the beautiful Cathedral of Santa Clara de Asís, La Caridad Theatre, and Leoncio Vidal Park.

At the conclusion of our 4-hour tour, you will have some leisure time to enjoy dinner and savor the charm of Santa Clara as night falls.

Day 5: Santa Clara - Varadero

On the final day, we’ll rise early for our last breakfast together before departing Santa Clara for Varadero. You will be dropped off at your accommodation around midday to enjoy the remaining time of your trip.

This five-day itinerary includes four nights in double occupancy rooms with breakfast at the following locations:

• Trinidad: Hostal Casa Azul Santa Ana, Hostal Casa Bequer Damaris House, Hostal La Gallega, El Hermano Masón, La Esperanza Hostel, Hostal Nancy or similar.
• Santa Clara: Hostal Beny, Ibis Hostal, Hostal Ana or similar.

Itinerary Adjustments

Please note that the Trinidad tour may be moved to the afternoon of day 2. This adjustment would allow you to have day 3 entirely to yourself for further exploration of Trinidad.
