The adventure begins at 10 am as we convene at Central Plaza. From this central point, we'll embark on a pleasant walk towards the Casa de Africa Museum.

As we make our way over the next 15 minutes, you’ll experience the lively atmosphere of Obispo Street, a vibrant artery of Havana. Keep a lookout for santeros (initiated Yoruba priests), who often appear in their ceremonial white garments.

Upon arrival at the museum, you'll plunge into the rich mysteries of the Yoruba faith. Originating from West Africa, this tradition was carried to Cuba during colonial times by enslaved individuals practicing their beliefs. The term santería might ring a bell, doesn't it?

A short drive will lead us to Hamel Alley, the heart of Afro-Cuban culture in the city. Here, let the sounds of traditional music envelope you as you admire the colorful murals that enhance the surroundings. You'll have some time to explore this fascinating locale at your own pace.

Next, we'll visit the residence of a santera, one of Havana's most intriguing locations. The priestess will elaborate on the various rituals associated with the Yoruba faith. Feel free to inquire about your future, should you be brave enough!
