Experience a vibrant and fascinating aspect of South American culture by witnessing a Cholitas wrestling match. This unique performance is exclusively presented by Indigenous women, symbolizing empowerment and resilience.

Cholitas Wrestling Event

Your journey begins with a pickup from your hotel in La Paz before we head towards El Alto, Bolivia's second-largest city.

Following approximately a 45-minute drive, we will reach the venue for the wrestling event. The Cholitas are a troupe of Indigenous women from Bolivia who have been enchanting audiences with their traditional bouts for years. This performance serves not only as entertainment but also as a significant statement on their societal roles and challenges.

Upon arrival, you will be seated in excellent locations near the ring, allowing for a fantastic view of the action. While enjoying the excitement of the match, you're welcome to indulge in some tasty popcorn and a refreshing soft drink of your choice.

The Cholita wrestling resembles the well-known Mexican lucha libre and American professional wrestling, featuring dramatized actions designed for entertainment and family enjoyment. Throughout the show, expect to see amazing elbow drops, flying kicks, and various exhilarating acrobatic feats.

Once the thrilling performance concludes, we will take the bus back to La Paz.
