Details of the Day Trip

We will depart from Lisbon at the arranged time and journey to Sintra, a picturesque town merely 30 minutes away from the city.

Upon arrival in Sintra, you will have the opportunity to delve into the enchanting Pena Park and National Palace, heralded as one of Portugal's finest sites, showcasing the artistic vision of King Ferdinand II. From a vantage point atop the hill, marvel at the views of the Castelo dos Mouros. Additionally, you’ll experience a fascinating 360-degree presentation detailing the palace's rich history.

Following this, you will have approximately an hour of leisure to wander through Sintra’s historic center and appreciate the exterior of the National Palace of Sintra, easily identifiable by its distinct white façade, which stands in stark contrast to the vibrant colors of the Pena Palace.

As we proceed towards Cascais, we will make a brief stop at Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of mainland Europe, and glimpse the renowned Guincho Beach, famously favored by surfers.

On our return along the Atlantic coastline, we’ll view Boca do Inferno and reach Cascais for a pleasant walk around the bay. Here, you'll enjoy 1.5 hours of free time to taste local cuisine, explore the historic district, or even take a refreshing dip in the sea—especially inviting during the warmer months!

As we head back to Lisbon, we will traverse Estoril, recognized for its scenic waterfront and lively casino. After an enriching day of sightseeing lasting 8 hours, we will return to our original departure point.
