Cabo de Gata Kayak & Snorkel Tour

Discover the stunning coastline of Almeria in a unique and engaging manner through this kayaking and snorkeling adventure in Cabo de Gata departing from Los Escullos. Immerse yourself in the clear waters!

Overview of the Activity

Your journey begins at the Cala de Embarcadero, where you can choose a convenient time to start your kayaking and snorkeling experience. Located in Los Escullos on the eastern side of Almeria, we will conduct a brief tutorial on safe kayaking techniques, giving you the opportunity to practice on the beach beforehand!

Once you grasp the fundamentals, we’ll embark on our paddling journey toward our target area. As we kayak, you’ll be surrounded by the dramatic volcanic cliffs that define the landscape of the Cabo de Gata - Nijar Natural Park.

At the midpoint, we will pause our paddling to dive into the refreshing waters and enjoy snorkeling. Be ready to observe schools of fish, starfish, octopuses, and possibly stingrays!

After two hours of exploration and fun, we will paddle back to Embarcadero Cove, concluding our tour.

Photography Service

Throughout the kayaking excursion, a photo report will be created for you. At the conclusion of the activity, we will share a link for you to download these photos at no cost, available two weeks later. You’ll have a lasting memory of this special day!

Requirements for Participation

• Participants must be able to swim and steer the kayak independently.
• This activity may not be suitable for individuals exceeding 264 lbs (120 kg), those with limited physical fitness, medical concerns, mobility restrictions, or expectant mothers.

Starting Location

The activity will commence at Embarcadero Cove, provided that weather conditions permit. Should there be unfavorable weather, an alternative location such as La Fabriquilla Beach or Agua Amarga Beach will be designated. In such cases, participants will be notified the day prior to the event.
