Luxor & Karnak Temples Guided Tour

During this tour, you will have the opportunity to explore two of Egypt's most magnificent temples: Karnak and Luxor, connected by the 3-kilometer-long Avenue of the Sphinxes.

Tour Overview

Our adventure begins at 7 pm with a convenient pickup from your hotel or riverboat. From there, we will head towards the east bank of Luxor, which was referred to as Thebes by ancient Egyptians, the epicenter of Egypt during the pharaonic era.

The initial highlight of our journey will be the Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex in Egypt. With a perimeter of 2,400 meters, this grand structure dominates Luxor's skyline. Its construction spanned over 2,000 years, commissioned by 67 pharaohs, and was ultimately dedicated to Ra, the sun god.

Our next destination will be the Luxor Temple, the premier monument of the city and the second largest temple after Karnak. This site saw contributions from numerous Pharaohs, including Ramses II, Ramses III, and Amenhotep II, with its completion in the 20th century B.C., dedicating it to the god Amun.

We will conclude our tour by returning you to your hotel or boat.

Pickup Details

This excursion includes pickup and drop-off exclusively at hotels and boats located on the eastern banks (right side) of the Nile River. After the tour, you will be returned to the original pickup location.

For those whose accommodations are on the western banks (left side) of the Nile, a designated meeting point will be arranged on the eastern side.
