Excursion to Cordoba from Malaga
Departing from the charming coastal city of Malaga, we will set off towards the exquisite Cordoba.
Upon arrival in this historic city, the remarkable Roman Bridge will captivate us; a location that became a notable filming site for fans of Game of Thrones.
We will meander through the enchanting cobblestone streets of the Jewish Quarter, where the iconic floral patios await our admiration alongside the Synagogue, a striking Mudejar-style structure defining the area.
Our next destination will be the awe-inspiring Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba. Renowned as a hallmark of the city, it stands as the most significant Islamic edifice in the western world. Inside, marvel at the “forest of columns”, vibrant mosaics, and exquisite stained glass windows.
Following the guided exploration, you will enjoy some leisure time to indulge in lunch and explore the historical center of Cordoba at your own pace, solidifying your understanding of why this city is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The day will conclude as we return to our initial gathering spot.

The pick up point in Malaga is Avenida de Andalucía 10, bus stop 11, in front of the Caixa Bank. We recommend getting to the meeting point at least 10 minutes early.
