Routes & Stops

Red Route

The red route of the Medina Tourist Bus features eight distinct stops throughout the city. Immerse yourself in the area's rich history at the battle of Uhud site, where Mohammed defended Medina, shop at the Al-Noor Mall or along Abu Bakr Road, and explore the pristine white Quba Mosque, one of the oldest mosques globally.

Green Route

Circling the heart of Medina, the green route offers four stops around the magnificent Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, also known as "the Prophet's Mosque". As one of the oldest and largest mosques worldwide, it ranks as the second holiest site in Islam, following Mecca. Its impressive architecture is sure to captivate any visitor. This mosque also houses the tomb of Muhammed.

How Does It Work?

Your ticket remains valid for 24 hours after your first use. For instance, if you board for the first time on a Monday at 3 pm, it will remain valid until Tuesday at 3 pm. You can hop on and off at any of the stops along the routes during this period.

While booking, you'll choose a start date; however, the voucher can be utilized within 12 months from that date.

Operating Times

The red and green routes operate from 5:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 4:30 pm to 11:30 pm.

The entire tour lasts approximately 60 minutes, with departures occurring every 30 minutes.
