Discover the breathtaking beauty of Monument Valley, a remarkable natural site that spans across Arizona and Utah, renowned for its timeless vistas that draw travelers to its striking scenery year after year. During this monumental tour, you have the opportunity to explore the stunning landscapes during either the dawn or dusk hours, ensuring a magical atmosphere.

Both tours commence from the The View Hotel lobby and follow a scenic path of 45 km (28 mi) by vehicle, featuring a musical performance by your knowledgeable guide along with a visit to a traditional Navajo Hogan for an authentic cultural experience.

Sunrise Tour

Your adventure begins at dawn, as we meet at the designated time. Climbing into our vehicle with a local guide, we will embark on a journey to discover the ideal location to witness the sunrise.

As we traverse the desert landscapes, we'll encounter massive natural arches, relishing the breathtaking panoramas as the sun rises on the horizon. Our first destination will be the arch at the Totem Pole rock formation, where we will take in an awe-inspiring sunrise from this scenic vantage point.

With the sun illuminating the landscape, we will then engage in a highlight tour of various rock formations in Monument Valley, including views of the West and East Mitten Butte, The Three Sisters, John Ford Point, Sleeping Dragon, The Big Hogan, Moccasin Arch, Sun's Eye, and North Window. During this journey, our local guide will also share a traditional musical performance.

Our next stop will be the Navajo Hogan, a traditional home of the Navajo people, offering an opportunity to admire handcrafted textiles.

After approximately 3 hours, we'll conclude our tour, returning to the meeting place.

Sunset Tour

Those opting for the sunset tour of Monument Valley will experience a similar itinerary to the sunrise tour, but in reverse order.

We start with a highlight tour of the notable rock formations, such as West and East Mitten Butte, Three Sisters, John Ford Point, among others, accompanied by a musical performance from our guide.

Then, we will visit a traditional Navajo Hogan dwelling before venturing out into the rugged terrain, searching for the perfect spot to witness the sky transform into stunning shades of orange and red as the sun sets—truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Make sure your cameras are ready!

After 3 hours, we will return to the meeting point, leaving you with cherished memories to last a lifetime.
