Our adventure begins at 4:30 pm with a pickup from your hotel in Morelia, as we head to our first destination: the Umécuaro Dam.

This tranquil reservoir boasts pristine waters enveloped by lush forests. Here, you'll be equipped with all necessary safety gear before embarking on an exhilarating 600-meter zip-line journey over the dam's surface!

Next, we will proceed to the Tres Cascadas Ecotourism Centre, where a picturesque path lined with pine and oak trees awaits exploration, and we will get the chance to witness fireflies.

As we walk along the trail, we'll take moments to admire the enchanting flickers of light emitted by these insects while learning interesting facts about them. Did you know their glow serves multiple purposes, including attracting partners, signaling danger, and aiding in their feeding?
