Itinerary

Our journey begins near Mahim Station, and from this point, we will proceed to Dharavi, often referred to as the ‘slum’ or underprivileged neighborhood of Mumbai, famously featured in the film Slumdog Millionaire.

Yet, it’s important to note that the reality for its residents is much more challenging than what the film portrays. Accompanied by a knowledgeable English-speaking guide, you’ll delve into the rich history of this area, offering you a deeper understanding of the diverse aspects of Mumbai.

Throughout the tour, you will have the chance to engage with some of the slum's inhabitants. This experience allows you to converse with them and gain a genuine perspective on their daily routines. It’s an impactful encounter that is sure to resonate.

At the end of the tour, we will return to the original meeting point in Mumbai.
