Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel to begin our tour of the historic centre of Naples.

The tour begins with the story of San Genaro in the Naples Cathedral, where the blood of the city's patron saint is said to re-liquefy at certain times of the year. We will also visit the Santa Restituta Basilica and the solemn towers of the Castel Nuovo in Piazza Municipio, where we will discuss the fortress's historical significance. After a brief photo stop at the Posillipo viewpoint, we'll return to the centre by minibus.

Next, we’ll visit the Piazza Plebiscito and the Neapolitan Royal Palace, which houses the largest library in southern Italy. The Church of San Francisco de Paola, resembling the Roman Pantheon, is located in front of the palace.

You will then head towards Pompeii, where the visit includes significant public spaces such as Pompeii's brothel, the Baths, the Forum, and the plaster casts of victims from the eruption. We will return to Naples by bus, arriving around 1:30 pm.

Itinerary Adjustments

For organisational reasons, the order of the visits may vary and could be done in reverse. In some cases, we may visit the monumental area instead of Naples' old town.

Hotel Pickup

Pickup service at the port of Naples is only available for cruise ship passengers. If you are staying in the city, we will pick you up at your hotel or at the train station.
