Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Nukus at a pre-arranged time. From there, we will embark on a journey to what used to be the central basin of the Aral Sea, specifically heading to the port town of Moynaq.

After a scenic three-hour drive, we will arrive at the Moynaq ship graveyard, a site that will leave you awestruck due to its poignant history. Here, we will wander through this vast expanse of desert populated by rusting vessels that once navigated the waters of the Aral Sea in Uzbekistan, now deliberately drained by human intervention.

During our exploration of the ship graveyard, we will dive into the shocking environmental devastation caused by the USSR authorities decades ago. You will have the chance to witness the abandoned ships that collectively create an eerie graveyard, a stunning visual that is hard to forget.

Following our time at the Moynaq ship cemetery, we will head to the Aral Sea and Regional History Museum, where we will delve deeper into the historical context of this region. After spending approximately an hour at the museum, we will make our way back to Nukus.
