Seeking an adrenaline-filled experience? Join us for an exhilarating climbing adventure in the Los Loros Gorge, a stunning Chilean canyon nestled within the Coquimbo region. Prepare to ascend vertical rock faces reaching heights of up to 15 meters (50 feet)!

Climbing Experience in Los Loros Gorge

Your day will begin with a convenient 8:30 am pickup from your hotel in Ovalle, followed by a scenic drive to the Los Loros Gorge, located only 30 kilometers (18 miles) from the city.

Upon arrival at the gorge, we will equip you with helmets, harnesses, and all necessary climbing gear. With everything set, our certified instructor will ensure your safety and comfort throughout the activity, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the experience!

Throughout this exciting climbing session, participants will tackle vertical rock walls that range from 12 to 15 meters (40-50 feet) in height. The climbing difficulty can be modified based on the group’s prior climbing experience.

As we ascend these majestic cliffs, you will enjoy spectacular views of the Río Hurtado and gain insights into the geological features of the region. Despite the arid conditions, the gorge is home to a surprising array of wildlife biodiversity.

After an invigorating day of climbing, we'll make our way back to your hotel in Ovalle, arriving around 1 pm.

Hotel Pickup Information

This experience includes hotel pickup from locations within downtown Ovalle. For those staying in more remote accommodations, pickup will be arranged at the scheduled time from the Plaza de Armas in the city center.
