Embark on an excursion from Paracas into the remarkable California desert of Peru, where you will experience a memorable picnic at sunset that promises to leave a lasting impression.

Activity Overview

At the designated time, we will collect you from your accommodation in Paracas to kick off this extraordinary journey in the California desert of Peru. Remarkably, this area has hosted the Dakar Rally on three separate occasions!

This arid landscape features rolling dunes and idyllic locales, including the enchanting oasis of Costa Rica. After a thrilling 45-minute ride in an off-road vehicle, we will arrive at our first destination. With a skilled driver navigating the sandy pathways, we will traverse the stunning dunes.

Upon reaching the oasis, you will have some free time to immerse yourself in a variety of activities available at this natural wonder: kayaking, sport fishing, boating, snorkelling, and more. For those seeking adventure, the tallest dunes offer a perfect spot for sand boarding.

As the sun sets over the California desert of Peru, we will relish a charming picnic. Your culinary experience will feature fresh fruits, nuts, cheese, cabanossi sausage, stuffed green olives, and ham. Beverage options include red or white wine, sparkling wine, as well as still mineral water, a can of beer, and a soft drink.

The picnic will take place in a setting adorned with tables, carpets, and comfortable cushions, illuminated by candle lamps and accompanied by soothing music, ensuring a delightful atmosphere.

After soaking in the breathtaking sunset over the California desert of Peru, we will commence our return to your hotel in Paracas. We anticipate arriving back approximately 4 to 5 hours after pickup.
