Saco do Mamanguá Boat Tour

On this boat trip around Saco do Mamanguá, we will explore Brazil’s only tropical fjord, sailing through crystal-clear waters surrounded by lush green mountains. Along the way, we’ll make several stops to allow for a refreshing swim!

Activity Details

At the designated time, we will meet on Avenida Roberto Silveira, in front of the Malagueta restaurant. From there, we’ll walk to the pier to board a speedboat and kick off our boat trip around Saco do Mamanguá, Brazil’s only tropical fjord.

As we navigate the Costa Verde, enjoy background music on board, and take advantage of an ice-filled cooler for any drinks or snacks you may have brought along.

Throughout the trip, we will make several stops to appreciate some of the region’s iconic landscapes, swim, and explore the underwater life with the snorkelling masks available.

Our first stop will be at Ilha dos Cocos, where you can swim in its clear waters amidst untouched nature. Next, we’ll visit Praia do Engenho, a serene beach near a small waterfall, ideal for cooling off.

Later, we’ll reach Praia do Cruzeiro, a true caiçara village. Here, you’ll have free time to wander the town, learn about its traditions, and enjoy a seafood lunch by the sea.

Subsequently, we will continue to Saco da Velha, a natural refuge enveloped in native vegetation, where the tranquil sound of the sea immerses you in peace.

Lastly, we’ll make a brief stop at Ilha do Mantimento, known for its role as a filming location in the Twilight saga. You’ll have a few moments to take photos and appreciate the stunning scenery.

We will then return to the pier and conclude our journey after 6 hours of sailing.
