Join us on a captivating journey from Trelew to Puerto Rawson where you will experience an exhilarating RIB boat adventure to observe Patagonian dolphins, creating unforgettable memories!

Itinerary Overview

We will gather at the scheduled time on Marcelino González Avenue, directly across from the Puerto Rawson Prefecture. Departing from this location, we'll embark on a semi-rigid boat designed for navigating local waters in search of wildlife.

The excursion will commence as we navigate along the mouth of the Chubut River. Should the weather permit, we might encounter playful single-haired sea lions in this region. From the comfort of our vessel, we’ll also observe a range of Atlantic bird species, including seagulls and albatrosses, while taking in the iconic yellow fleet of Puerto Rawson.

Next, we will head into the Atlantic Ocean in pursuit of the renowned Patagonian dolphins that frequent these southern hemispheric waters. Known scientifically as Commerson's dolphins, these creatures are easily recognizable due to their striking white and black coloration. Along the way, our guide will share fascinating insights about these remarkable mammals.

After approximately an hour and 15 minutes on the water, our journey will conclude as we make our way back to Puerto Rawson's dock.

Boat Specifications

The vessel is a semi-rigid boat measuring 12.75 m (41.8 ft) in length and 4.5 m (14.7 ft) in beam, equipped with two powerful 250 horsepower engines. It offers comfortable accommodation for up to 57 passengers, including crew members.
