Are you ready to discover the wonders beneath the waves? Join us for an exciting snorkeling adventure at Caño Island, departing from Sierpe, where we will reveal one of the Pacific coast's most stunning destinations in Costa Rica.

Snorkeling Experience at Caño Island

We will convene at 7:50 am at Sierpe's Pier, where you'll board our boat destined for one of Costa Rica's most extraordinary islands.

The initial leg of our journey will span 45 minutes through the enchanting Térraba-Sierpe region, recognized as the largest wetland in Costa Rica. Following this, we will venture into the open ocean, continuing our sail for another 30 minutes towards the Caño Island Biological Reserve.

Upon arriving at this stunning enclave, you will have three hours dedicated to snorkeling at Caño Island. The underwater landscape of this pristine islet boasts a vibrant ecosystem, where various species of tropical fish can be spotted in the shallows.

After exploring, we will pause for a picnic lunch on one of the sandy beaches. Our menu features an array of local delicacies, designed to refuel you for your second snorkeling session.

Once we’ve enjoyed our meal and had a moment to relax, we will return to the water. This time, you'll have an additional hour and a half to uncover the underwater beauty of Caño Island, where its exquisite coral reefs are sure to amaze.

Concluding our underwater exploration, we will board the boat once again for the return journey to the pier, with an anticipated arrival time of 4:15 pm.
