Huacamaillo Waterfall Trek

We will gather at number 385 on Jiron Nasca in Tarapoto at the appointed time, commencing our adventure with a 30-minute drive.

Upon reaching the village of San Antonio de Cumbaza, the real exploration begins! Here, we will embark on a 2-hour trek leading us to the Huacamaillo Waterfall. The path will take us through the vibrant Amazon Rainforest where we can enjoy wading across the clear waters of the Cumbaza River.

As we complete the 2.5-mile (4-kilometre) trail, the majestic waterfall will emerge from behind the foliage. You will have 2 hours of leisure time to enjoy a swim, have a picnic, and capture stunning photos of the impressive 65-foot (20-metre) waterfall.

After an enriching hiking experience, we will make our way back to the vehicle. We anticipate returning you to the meeting point in Tarapoto around 5 pm, wrapping up a fulfilling day after approximately 8 hours.
