Are you interested in embarking on your first underwater adventure? This snorkelling excursion in the Beagle Channel offers a unique opportunity to explore shallow waters near Ushuaia, enveloped by the stunning scenery of Tierra del Fuego.

Snorkelling in the Beagle Channel

Your day will commence at 9 am when we pick you up from your accommodation in Ushuaia, proceeding to the Yacht Club for a concise safety briefing.

We will then equip ourselves with masks, snorkels, flippers, and all necessary snorkelling gear before boarding a boat that will take us to a designated safe diving location within the Beagle Channel. This narrow stretch of sea lies to the south of Ushuaia and separates the Atlantic from the Pacific waters.

Our adventure includes a single shallow dive. You do not need to dive deeply to appreciate the underwater beauty of the Beagle Channel, where you might even encounter schools of small fish.

Depending on individual thermal preferences, the dive duration will range from 20 to 40 minutes, with an instructor overseeing the entire process to ensure your peace of mind while you soak in the underwater wonders of the Beagle Channel!

Once the snorkelling is concluded, we'll return to the Yacht Club. After returning the equipment, you will be escorted back to your hotel in Ushuaia, approximately four hours after the initial pickup.

Pickup

Upon booking, you can select from the following options:

• Tour with pickup: Includes transfers from your hotel in Ushuaia.
• Tour without pickup: We will meet you at the specified time at the AFASyN Yacht Club in Ushuaia.
