This day excursion to Tyulenovo, Balchik, and Varna takes you from Romania across the border to explore these three stunning coastal towns in Bulgaria.

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Constanta and embark on our journey towards the Bulgarian coastline. Prepare to uncover three of the most sought-after destinations along the Black Sea.

Upon crossing the border, our first location will be the breathtaking cliffs of Tyulenovo. This enchanting site offers remarkable views of the sea and is part of a picturesque landscape that will capture your heart.

Next, we will progress along the coastline to the Balchik Palace, once home to Mary of Yugoslavia, the consort of King Alexander I of Yugoslavia. Discover the rich history of these figures as we navigate through the various rooms of the palace and the surrounding botanical garden.

Before concluding our visit to Balchik Palace, we will enjoy a Bulgarian wine tasting paired with traditional snacks. Following this, you will have three hours of leisure time to wander around the palace grounds and enjoy lunch at your leisure.

Afterward, we will head south with a brief stop at the Golden Sands resort before we continue to the city of Varna. Here, we will visit one of the largest Orthodox cathedrals in Bulgaria, dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.

From Varna, we will return to Romania, with an estimated arrival back at your hotel approximately 14.5 hours after our original pick-up.
